Playground, Kangaroo Zoo, And Bath Time

It's our last weekend with Jen and her family
:(
Poppie and Mimi got here early, so we took Atalia to a playground while we waited for Jen and her family to show up.

We thought it would be nice to take Tali there on her bike.

There are a lot of straps on that bike.

I think she has it pretty good.

We're here!

We were talking about how much smarter they've gotten with making playgrounds safer these days, with the rubber-ish ground, slides that level off more at the bottom, and varieties of more age appropriate playgrounds. (Even with all that, I still get nervous and think of all the worst case scenarios.)

FINALLY!
She has come around to the slide!

Mimi has come around to the slide too!
Haha!

Hmmmmm . . . interesting.

Love those eyes.

She was so careful on this part of the playground, which makes a mommy very happy.

Bribed her with promises of cookies to get her to go home willingly.

We went to Kangaroo Zoo with Jen and Bryson, Sage and Raden, and Bryson's mom and three brothers.

Tali found a cozy little spot that she fit in perfectly.

Golly, did this balloon cause some trouble. Atalia hated that I tied it to her hand, not understanding that it would fly away if we didn't tie it to something. Finally, I tied it to her sippy cup instead and we had a happier little girl.

This picture makes it look like James has a balloon for a head . . . heh heh heh.

Tali and Sage are so different and trying to get them to play together isn't always easy. So, I didn't get any pictures of them together. Sage is more adventurous than Tali and Tali has an easier time moving around on the blow-up toys (she is still a few months older too). Sage would get on the bigger toys with one of her parents and go down the bigger slides. Tali had an easier time being by herself, climbing and walking on the 4 year old and younger blow-up toys. Sage had trouble getting herself back up if she fell down lol.

We went out to eat, got home, and gave the girls a bath together.

We made a last-minute decision to go back to Logan and stay with my parents over-night to have more time with everyone.
