My dad has a work retreat thing every year and you can bring your families with you. This year it was at Lake Tahoe, Navada. I decided the day of that Atalia and I would go with them, giving my mom more time with Tali before she needed to head back to North Carolina.
It was sad leaving James. It was the longest we've been apart. :(
I felt like I was in high school again, being in the back seat with my parents driving me somewhere. Oh to feel young again!
We saw these air shows going on. That was pretty neat! (You can see some part of it in the picture above, but I think I'd have to point it out for you to be able see it.)
I tried to show Tali how to eat Bugles (eating them off your fingers).
Success.
She only ate a few and decided that she didn't like them. Then I ate the rest . . . I thought I didn't like them . . . but found out I do.
A sock bag, why hasn't anybody thought of this sooner?
Poppie reaching back.
I remember my dad doing this when I was a little girl and I would always stick my foot in his hand and think that I was really funny.
We found a cozy, cigar smell-filled, sticky, buggy place to eat for dinner. Our food was actually pretty good, but the rest of it was hard to get past.
It was a long trip there (9 hours?), but good. Tali was as good as could be.
More Lake Tahoe to come!!
Haha, I love the look on Tali's face when she's eating a Bugle. You can tell she doesn't like them.
